Nine Naturals

Nine Naturals is a line of safe haircare products for mothers and mothers to be, 100% chemical free the line is gentle yet works! if you are concerned out chemicals in your regular shampoo and conditioner during pregnancy than this is the perfect choice. You can use it just while your expecting or after (my guess is you may want to keep using it) the line is relatively small which means all the products are well crafted and well thought about with you and your little one in mind

Nine Naturals say…..

We’ve designed a line of products specifically with pregnant women and new mothers in mind:

-FORMULATED FOR HEALTH & SAFETY: All of our ingredients are pre-screened for health and safety during pregnancy and while nursing.  Our formulations use 100% plant-based ingredients and are vegan. We never use Sulfates, Parabens, Phthalates, Petrochemicals, DEA, Synthetic Fragrances, or Artificial Preservatives.

-ŸOPTIMIZED FOR PERFORMANCE: Not all natural products are created equal. We designed our line focusing on high performance as well as purity of ingredients. Our premium ingredients, which include moroccan argan oil, macadamia seed oil, and cupuaçu butter, nurture your hair and skin to keep you radiant throughout your nine months and beyond.

-GENTLE 100% NATURAL FRAGRANCES: Our proprietary natural fragrances - comprised solely of pure essential oils - are gentle and soothing, designed to help ease common pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness and fatigue. We’ve also toned down the strength of the fragrance, so you’ll never find them to be overpowering - to account for your sensitive sense of smell.

-SAFE FOR COLOR-TREATED HAIR: Since we know that this is a time when you can’t frequent the salon for treatments like you may want, all of our hair products are pH balanced to be safe for color-treated hair.

-TRANSPARENCY & CLARITY: We disclose all of our ingredients to you. In addition, on any product page, our ingredients link directly to their definitions in our ingredient glossary where we describe the ingredients and their many beauty benefits!

Nine Naturals is currently available here US ONLY

Kids for some ungodly reason means early mornings and even more distressing is the run of the mill kids TV, So this morning I was delighted to have a rest from the hyper loudly dressed kids telly presenters by watching Bino & Finoan African educational cartoon made in Nigeria.

Brother and sister team Bino & Fino have great adventures with the help of their friends, I was sent the DVD which has several colourful episodes in which the bespectacled Bino and afro puff rocking Fino learn about Nigerian Independence Day, enjoy fruit salad and try their hand a making a snail soup! Freya is only now starting to have a little bit of an attention span for cartoons and she managed to watch one full episode before getting distracted. But the mix of bright drawing mixed with real photography would keep older children entertained for the full DVD I’m sure (and adults)

The DVD is available to buy now and a full series is in production for the end of 2013, the show has already been broadcast  in the UK on Sky and in South Africa.  Not to worry if the show doesn’t air where you are, like I said you can buy the DVD or check out Bino & Fino’s great YouTube channel (I now know how to count to ten in Yoruba!)
